Airport Vendor Acquisition

The team at Johnson Group of South Florida provided Program Management Services for vendor spaces at several major airports to include Boston Logan International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The Johnson Group works closely with senior airport staff and vendors to maximize space and revenue for all parties.
Universal Studios
Orlando, Florida
By creating a "claims-free" environment, senior members from the Johnson Group of South Florida's management team successfully managed 18 design firms and 14 major contractors while coordinating $220 million worth of construction on this major theme park. With Johnson Group management team leading a key project, the 444 acre theme park was built in 18 months. The owner challenged the Johnson Group's team to bring the project in on budget and on schedule, keeping in mind that the final design would continue to evolve during construction. The leadership team at Johnson Group was later rehired to provide construction management assistance for a 14-month, $140 million expansion of Universal Studios called "Toon Lagoon"
Station Casino (rebranded Ameristar Casino)
Kansas City, Missouri
Senior team members from the Johnson Group of South Florida were directly responsible for the acquisition, development, and construction of the Station Casino in Kansas City, Missouri (the facility opened on January 16, 1997 as Station Casino and was purchased and rebranded as Ameristar Casino on December 19, 2000).
